Today: Breezy and mild with sunshine and patchy clouds. High: 52

Tonight: Clear early, then some clouds. Low: 30

In the wake of yesterday's strong cold front that stretched from Maritime Canada down to the Gulf of Mexico the East Coast will deal with a much more tranquil day today. For eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey that means plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures as afternoon highs extend into the low 50s.

There will be a breeze at times, but after the winter the area has experience today will be a nice day to get outside and shake that cabin fever. Sunday won't be too shabby either although there will be more cloud cover around and the chance for a late day or evening rain (possibly snow) shower in spots, primarily southeast of Allentown.

Highs on Sunday will once again be near 50 degrees, but once the cold front responsible for the late day and evening showers passes through the region look for a shot of brisk, colder air to move in for Monday.

So despite partly sunny skies to start off the work week afternoon highs will only bounce back into the mid 30s after starting out the in the mid and upper 20s.
