Surveillance video of girl, 14, being shocked released
An attorney for the 14-year-old Dieruff High School student who's suing an Allentown police officer for shocking her with a Taser has released video of the incident.
The surveillance video shows the scene outside Dieruff back on September 29.
Watch the raw video of the incident here.
In it, you can see Keshana Wilson, 14, walking with two of her friends.
The next part of the video pans away from the incident and onto the Dieruff High School building and parking lot. It then jumps back to the incident and zooms in as Wilson and Allentown Police Officer Jason Ammary appear to be fighting. Ammary has Wilson pinned up against a car during the fight.
Seconds later, Wilson is shocked with a Taser.
It's not clear from this video what prompted the confrontation between Wilson and Ammary because that part of the incident happened while the camera was focused on the high school.
Wilson's mother is suing Ammary and the City of Allentown.
"There is no words to describe it. I wanted to, I almost got sick. I felt sick I just couldn't imagine why he would feel the need to do that," said Victoria Geist.
Geist's lawyer is the one who tracked down the video. He said it's powerful.
"The tape speaks volumes, more than I can ever say," said Richard Orloski. "When I watch this tape it was clear to me I had an obligation to help this young lady and to keep it from happening to other people."
Geist said the attack was racially motivated.
