Police are looking for a masked man who tried to break into a home, and was chased away by a teenager.

It happened late Sunday night on Fairview Street in Coopersburg, Lehigh County.

A man who was inside the house at the time said someone wearing a ski mask, and carrying a baseball bat, came up to the house and was spotted by a 16-year-old boy who was outside.

The man inside said the boy rushed in, grabbed a kitchen knife and the two of them took off after the burglar.

He said the teenager was hit with a baseball bat during a struggle with the burglar, but he was not hurt badly enough to be hospitalized.
