The Lehigh Valley Tea Party held an event tonight to help educate voters.
The group co-sponsored a town hall meeting with the Freedom Works non-profit group.
It was held at DeSales University, and discussion centered around Pennsylvania Senate Bill 1.
The bill would offer vouchers for low income families to allow children to attend the school of their choice.
Organizers say the town hall was meant to be a way to inform voters and allow them to form their own opinion on the subject.
"That's what we're about, individual responsibility and taking the citizens becoming actively aware of whats going on and then learning the information and then making their own choices based on the information that they learn," said Kim Schmidtner the chair of LV Project 9/12 Tea Party Group.
The group says it plans on hosting more town halls on other subjects in the future
