UGI says it will raise rates twice before end of year
UGI customers are about to find a slightly larger bill on their doorsteps.
The utility company says gas rates are going up for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
Officials say customer's bills will go up 7.2 percent on June 1st and then another 5.9 percent on December 1st.
The changes are all pending the approval of Pennsylvania's Public Utility Commission.
UGI says the increase is due to the expanding demand for natural gas in the US.
