Vikings return to the PIAA semifinals with win

The Central Catholic football team is back in the state semifinals for the third straight year after beating Selinsgrove 41-13 Friday. Colin McDermott and the Viking running game dominated again.
McDermott had over 200 yards rushing and 3 TD's at the half as the Vikings led 19-13. He added 2 more TD's in the 2nd half and threw a pass to convert a 2-point conversion in the win. McDermott finished with 379 yards and 5 touchdowns.
The Vikings will return to Bethlehem next week to face Archbishop Wood in the PIAA semifinal round.
