A suspected cocaine dealer turned himself in to Lansdale police, they said.

Bail was set at $50,000 and he was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Police said they found evidence of drugs while searching Frank Raphiek Cristea's apartment in the 500 block of West 8th Street on April 19.

The search warrant was for an unrelated assault case, but netted a marijuana pipe. A second search warrant, specifically for narcotics, yielded a can with a false bottom containing 6 grams of suspected cocaine, police said.

Police also found scales, packaging bags, marijuana pipes, marijuana, three vials of suspected phencyclidine (PCP), four suspected Alprazolam pills (xanax) and nearly $1,500 in cash.

Police had obtained a warrant to arrest Cristea on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kevin Jacquez finds unique way to get inside store, Reading police say

Police are trying to track down a brazen burglar with a crafty way of breaking and entering.

La Esquina Famosa's bright yellow and orange colors and Mexican and Spanish cuisine attract a lot of customers, but the corner store at North 10 and Perry streets in Reading has also been a target for some cunning crooks.

"I see everything on the floor, the rack, everything on the floor," said Antonio Fernandez, the manager at La Esquina Famosa.

When Fernandez opened the doors on April 4, he found the store ransacked. Bottles of salad dressing, boxes of crackers and pasta were thrown everywhere.

"Everything was thrown on the floor, the racks and shelves were empty, it was just a big mess," said Fernandez's son, who took pictures and recorded video of the damage.

The burglar's entrance was through the ceiling, police said.

"I see the big hole in the roof from the second floor," said Fernandez.

According to police, ceiling tiles in the store were missing and the floor boards in the apartment upstairs were loose.

Kevin Jacquez lived there. Now, he's facing charges for allegedly stealing nearly $6,000 in merchandise including a laptop, flat screen TV, baby formula, cigars and cold hard cash, said police.

Jacquez, 31, was reportedly moving out, and when police searched his apartment they said they found coins, cigars, a laptop and food from the store downstairs.

"They do it twice before. They broke in twice before," said Fernandez.

The first two break-ins were through the wall in December 2011, and the third break-in three weeks ago through the hole in the ceiling, said police.

The store is equipped with cameras, but they were not working at the time. According to Fernandez, wires were cut and the surveillance system was stolen the first time the store was hit. Now, the store is stepping up security.

"I fixed everything. I got an ADT alarm now so if anything happens, police come," said Fernandez.

Jacquez's fingerprints were found on bags found inside his apartment filled with cigars and groceries, and pieces of floor boards were recovered in a trash bag left on top a dumpster outside, said police.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest, and police are trying to determine if he's responsible for all three break-ins.

Anyone with information on Jacquez's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Alert Berks County at 877-373-9913.

Monroe County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of fugitive Richard Aubrey Palmer (aka Richard John Apostle).

Authorities provided the following account on Palmer:

Meanwhile, a search warrant was obtained and after a subsequent search it was discovered that Palmer had provided false information the night of his arrest.

After learning of his true identity, it was further discovered that Palmer was a felon, not allowed to possess a firearm. New charges have been filed and an arrest warrant has been issued. Palmer provided an address in Timothy Lake, East Stroudsburg; however, it is unknown if he is still in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call Monroe County Crime Stoppers at 1-866-370-1518. Callers could be eligible for cash rewards and you may remain anonymous.

A Montgomery County man is wanted by police in connection with an assault on his landlord.

Police said 23-year-old William Keith Kane of the 400 block of Franklin Street in Lansdale is facing a felony warrant after he assaulted the homeowner where Kane lived.

On March 9, the man who owned the home where Kane had been living in the basement since December, called police. He told them when he had told Kane he was behind on his rent and was breaking house rules, Kane grabbed a knife and walked toward him.

Kane screamed he wasn't going to pay the homeowner and he was going to kill him, police said.

The homeowner was able to grab the knife away from Kane, but suffered a cut to his hand, police said.

The next day, Kane left the house, and when he returned the homeowner asked for his house key, police said, but Kane refused and instead picked up a tire iron and threatened to kill the homeowner.

The man was able to get inside the house and called police.

When officers arrived, Kane had fled the area, police said.

Kane faces charges of aggravated assault, harassment, simple assault and related charges.

Police said Kane may be in the Boyertown area.

Montgomery County officials are asking the public's help to find a Philadelphia man.

Lansdale Police Chief Robert McDyre and Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman are looking for 52-year-old Glendon Fenty in connection with a 2011 investigation where Lansdale Police seized 203 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop.

Early September 28, 2011, a Lansdale officer came upon a tractor trailer in a parking lot with a silver pickup backup up to the rear of the trailer. An individual was seen loading cellophane-wrapped bales from the back of the trailer into the pickup, police said.

The individual, later identified as Fenty, saw police and drove the pickup away at a high rate of speed, police said.

Fenty abandoned the pickup a short distance away where police found seven large bales of marijuana, totaling 153 pounds, in the pickup.

Inside the tractor trailer, police said they found two large bales of marijuana, totaling 49 pounds.

The driver and owner of the tractor trailer was identified as 41-year-old Andrew Lue, of the 600 block of S. Broad Street in Lansdale.

Lue was subsequently arrested and charged with various drug violations to include felony trafficking a controlled substance.

Fenty fled the scene on foot and is still at large.

Fenty faces charges of possession of controlled or counterfeit substance, possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and related charges.

He has a felony warrant for his arrest for facilitating the pick-up and transport of the drug from Arizona to Pennsylvania.

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Glendon Fenty, contact the Lansdale Police Department at (215) 368-1801.
