A woman from the Blandon area has been charged with embezzling nearly $1.8 million from EnerSys.
The U.S. Attorney's office said Sheila Jameson, 55, set up a shell corporation and sent bogus invoices to EnerSys while she worked at the battery maker in Bern Township.
If she's convicted, she could face life in prison, prosecutors said.
