Adamshick, Boyle inducted into CCHS Wall of Fame

Central Catholic held its annual Wall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday at Rockne Hall - a ceremony that had a definitive basketball flavor.

Jackie Adamshick ('02), who racked up 1,848 points at Central from 1999-2002, was inducted on the girls side.

Central's 2001 and 2002 girls state championship teams - both of which Adamshick starred on - were also inducted.

On the boys side, Pat Boyle ('89), who was the captain of Central's 1989 boys team that won 30 games, including an Eastern PA state championship, was enshrined.

Boyle is currently the head coach at Notre Dame High School.

Wrestler David Rivera ('02), the winningest wrestler in Central Catholic history, was also inducted.  River won state gold at 160 pounds in 2002.

Rev. Frans J. Berkhout, a former principal and president at Central Catholic, was inducted as well.
