Aungst leads Salisbury to second straight title

Aungst helps Salisbury baseball repeat as league champs

The Salisbury baseball team won its second straight Colonial League Championship Thursday night, 6-0 over Southern Lehigh at Limeport Stadium.

Justin Aungst provided the heroics on the mound and at the plate for the Falcons.

Aungst threw a two-hit shutout, amassing seven strikeouts along the way.

He also had four RBIs, including a two-run home run in the first inning.

The Falcons improve to 21-1 on the season, and claim their third Colonial League title in the last five years.

Salisbury has outscored its Colonial League opponents 140-23 this season.
