Driver fails to negotiate a curve on Rt. 10, pronounced dead at scene.

Man killed in 1-car crash

ROBESON TWP., POa. - A man was killed when his car left a road and hit a tree in Berks County early Wednesday morning.

The accident happened around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 4700 block of Morgantown Road, also known as Route 10, in Robeson Township.

Nathan Crandall was traveling north on Route 10 when police said he failed to negotiate a turn, went off the road and hit a tree.

Crandall, 22, of the Reading area, died of his injuries at the scene, the coroner said.

Morgantown Road was closed between Moyer and Furnace roads while police investigated the accident.
