2 men charged in shooting on North Front Street in Reading

READING, Pa. - Two men have been charged in the shooting of another man in Reading.

Johansel Jackson, 18, and Danny Jimenez-Martinez, 25, were involved in the shooting in the 900 block of North Front Street on April 22, police said.

One of the suspects knocked on the victim's front door and then walked with him to an alley, where the other suspect was waiting with a gun, police said.

Jackson shot the victim in the groin, according to police, who said that the victim knew the suspects.

Jackson was committed to the Berks County Jail on $500,000 bail; Martinez-Jimenez is free on $50,000 bail.
