2 transported to hospital in Reading shooting

READING, Pa. - Two men were taken to the hospital after a shooting in Reading Saturday night, police said.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Front and Bern Streets after reports of a possible shooting at 11:10 p.m.

While police were en route, they were notified about a shooting victim arriving at St. Joseph's Hospital in a personal vehicle.

Shortly after, police were notified about a second shooting victim arriving at Reading Hospital in a personal vehicle.

The two men were 25 and 19 years old.

Police do not know the condition of the victims.

No suspects are in custody, and Reading Police are asking the public for assistance.
