RICHMOND TWP., Pa. - A barn went up in flames in Berks County early Saturday morning.

Firefighters responded around 1 a.m. to Lenhart Road in Richmond Township, where they arrived to find a barn fully involved in flames.

The fire went to three alarms, summoning volunteers to the scene from around the region.

The owners of the barn told 69 News that two horses inside the barn were injured. One of them had to be euthanized, the family said.

There were no reports of serious injuries.
