Aaron Nola to make AA debut Wednesday in Reading

Phillies top draft pick to start vs. Senators

READING, Pa. - Phillies top draft pick in this year's draft, RHP Aaron Nola, will make his AA debut on Wednesday night in Baseballtown when the Fightin Phils host the Harrisburg Senators.

The LSU-product posted a 2-3 record with a 3.16 ERA in more than 31 innings with Clearwater.

The 7th overall selection in the draft, Nola went 11-1 with a 1.47 ERA in 16 starts in 2014 with the Tigers.

Nola is a two-time All-American and is the only pitcher in conference history to be awarded SEC Pitcher of the Year twice.
