Surviving suspect in deadly robbery to stand trial on murder

READING, Pa. - A man accused of taking part in a robbery that led to the deaths of two other suspects is heading to trial on murder charges.

Alexander Garcia Bialek waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday.

Bialek was the getaway driver in a robbery at Krick's Korner store in Reading last month and supplied the other suspects -- William Medina and Robert DeCarr -- with the guns to carry out the crime, police said.

Medina and DeCarr were shot and killed by a concerned citizen after the holdup.

In addition to second degree murder, Bialek is also charged with conspiracy.
