Alvernia men eager for rematch with Albright

Alvernia men excited for rematch with Albright

READING - The Alvernia men have caught fire heading down the home stretch. The Cruaders have won six straight games and are now among the top three in the Commonwealth Conference Standings.

Next up is a showdown with cross-town rival Albright Wednesday at the Bollman Center.

It was not pretty between these two in the first meeting. In fact, Alvernia won by 22 on Jack McCloskey Court.

But the Lions have stayed afloat and are fighting for a playoff spot.

Alvernia knows it's going to be tested by a hungry Albright team.

But the Crusaders are just as motivated as they continue their hunt for first place.
