Senior Expo draws thousands to...

READING, Pa. - Thousands of seniors headed to downtown Reading on Tuesday for an always-popular event.

The DoubleTree Hotel on Penn Street played host to the 17th annual Senior Expo. This year's theme was "positive aging."

There were more than 140 vendors, along with doctors and experts.

"You want to do the research ahead of time so that if and when that incident in life occurs that we're not expecting, you know exactly where to go and what to do and how to figure it out," said Luann Oatman, the president and CEO of Berks Encore.

There were also lots of freebies and giveaways. Organizers said nearly 4,000 people attended.
