Antietam boys hoping for better play in postseason

Antietam boys hungry to begin playoffs

MT. PENN - The Antietam boys basketball team is among a few in Berks County who will begin their pursuit of a District 3 championship on Tuesday night.

The seventh-seeded Mounts will host (10) Lititz Christian in their Class A opener.

Antietam put together another solid year. They went 6-4 within the league and posted 13 wins overall.

But the team was not satisfied with that. The Mounts expected bigger things in the regular season and didn't accomplish it. Wyomissing and Tulpehocken finished ahead of them in the division, something that didn't sit well with the Mounts. They plan to make up for it at Districts.
