BC, Boone football host big league games Friday

Saints, Blazers in action within respective divisions

Saints, Blazers preparing for home league contests

Berks Catholic responded to their first loss of the season in rather resounding fashion, 56-8 winners over Hamburg. The Saints are in the middle of a three-game home stand with Twin Valley coming to town Friday.

It's a Raiders team that played Wyomissing pretty tough in a loss last week.

BC is well aware of that and they're certainly not overlooking Twin Valley.

The setback to Exeter has re-focused this team with a new hunger and new drive.

In Berks I, Daniel Boone welcomes Reading to their home field.

This was not a pretty game last year, 61-7 Red Knights. You have to think Boone remembers that.

The Blazers have won 3 out of their last 4 and could get above .500 with a win.

The team has come a long way since the opening week.
