Berks hospital unveils multi-million dollar surgical machine

BERN TWP., Pa. - A hospital in Berks County has received a multi-million dollar gift.

Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Bern Township unveiled on Monday a machine that's used to perform minimally-invasive surgeries.

Officials said St. Joe's is the only hospital in the area with the technology. The hospital said Berks County philanthropists Ray and Carole Neag helped purchase the machine.
