Detectives with the district attorney's office announced Monday the arrest of Roddy Sanchez-Martinez, who has been under investigation since December, they said.

During that investigation, authorities said Sanchez-Martinez sold heroin and fentanyl to undercover detectives in the area of Washington and Rose streets in Reading.

Detectives said they subsequently searched the suspect's apartment at 100 North Fourth Street and seized 414 packs of heroin, 11 packs of cocaine, one packet of methamphetamine, one packet of synthetic cannabinoid, one package of bulk heroin, and two packets of fentanyl.

They also recovered two stolen handguns and confiscated more than $65,000 in cash. The total street value of the seized drugs is $60,000, officials said.

Sanchez-Martinez, 24, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance (fentanyl), possession with intent to deliver (fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine), possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and synthetic cannabinoid), and receiving stolen property.
