Berks man charged in vandalism of Ephrata school property

EPHRATA TWP., Pa. - A Berks County man has found himself in trouble with the law in neighboring Lancaster County.

Ephrata police announced Thursday criminal charges of institutional vandalism and criminal trespass against Kevin A. Brzostek, 21, of Exeter Township.

Brzostek entered Ephrata Area School District property in the 100 block of South Market Street in Ephrata Township on the evening of May 10 and damaged property, including heat pumps, police said.

The damage required $4,233.62 worth of repairs, police said.
