Berks/L-L softball still alive at Carpenter Cup

Team plays elimination game on Wednesday morning

Berks/LL Carpenter Cup team hoping to move on

The Berks County/Lancaster-Lebanon team is still alive at the Carpenter Cup. But they'll need to win out in order to bring home the hardware.

Berks/L-L prevailed in their opener against Lehigh Valley on Monday. But Jersey Shore got the better of them later in the afternoon.

The team plays in what it hopes will be its first elimination game Wednesday morning against the Suburban One/Bicentennial team. 9:00 first pitch at FDR Park in Philadelphia.

Berks/L-L is confident moving forward. The players haven't been together long, but they've showed some early promise and the ability to win.
