Boyertown out to 2-0 start behind potent offense

Boyertown lighting up the scoreboard early

BOYERTOWN - The Boyertown football team has started the season 2-0 behind a strong offense that has already scored more than 100 points on the young season.

In victories over CB East and Upper Perk, Boyertown has outscored the competition by a combined score of 107-58.

Mark Scisly knew he'd have a big, physical offensive line this season that would allow him to run the ball. But the Bears have been able to open things up with the passing attack as well, giving tailback Cody Richmond some support.

Boyertown expects a stiffer challenge on Saturday when the Bears play at Methacton in a PAC-10 showdown. This will be the toughest defense the Bears have faced so far.
