Bears to meet North Parkland Thursday afternoon

Boyertown blanks Albion to stay alive

BOYERTOWN, Pa. - The Boyertown legion baseball team staved off elimination in the state tournament Wednesday afternoon following a 7-0 win over Albion at Bear Stadium.

Bears' starter Tyler Bauman was brilliant on the mound, going 8 innings and striking out 8. He got his run support in the 6th inning, when Boyertown scored 6 runs.

The Bears will meet North Parkland on Thursday afternoon in another elimination game. The Buffaloes fell to Swoyersville, 2-0.
