Boyertown wrestlers poised for big season

Boyertown wrestlers poised for big year

BOYERTOWN - The Boyertown wrestling team is considered one of the top contenders for the PAC-10 and District I championships. The Bears have hopes of doing major damage at the state level as well.

The Bears won 18 matches a season ago, placing third in the District. Boyertown also qualified for states. Should the Bears stay healthy, there's a good chance this team can surpass all that.

Led by stud sophomore Jordan Wood and senior Eddie Kriczky, Boyertown has plenty of talent and depth to challenge anyone they'll face this season.

One of the toughest obstacles for Pete Ventresca's team right is now is staying motivated and realizing that they have to prove all the hype.

Boyertown is out to a 6-0 start. Their next league match is January 8th against Upper Perk.
