Brandywine outlasts Kutztown for season sweep

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Brandywine Heights (5-0, 9-1) completed a season sweep of rival Kutztown (3-2, 6-5), 5-3, on Wednesday night in Kutztown.

The Bullets did all their damage in the first innings. Amanda Hess and Sam Sweigert combined for four hits and 2 RBIs to lead Brandywine. Dayna Jalowy also knocked in two runs for the Bullets.

Emily Lenhart and Alex Garrett each tallied multiple hits to pace the Cougars.

Division-leading Brandywine hosts William Allen on Friday. Kutztown welcomes Hamburg that same night.
