Cabela's, Lowe's partner to build park pavilions in Hamburg

HAMBURG, Pa. - Pavilions are popping up at Hamburg Memorial Park, Berks Co.,  thanks to a unique partnership.

Volunteers from Lowe's and Cabela's are working together to build pavilions in the park throughout this week.

They said the pavilions will have grills attached and an arts and crafts building is also getting fixed up. We're told the builders are all helping on their day off.

"The community gives back to us quite a bit. They allow us to operate a business within their community. They mean a lot to us, the town of Hamburg as well as Tilden Township, and I think this is a great way for us to give back," said Matt Burtch, Cabela's.

Organizers said they hope to do more of these projects for years to come.
