Car slams into Berks home

PERRY TWP., Pa. - A car slammed into a house in Berks County on Sunday, leaving the homeowners in need of new utilities.

The accident happened at 5 p.m. at a home in the 600 block of Ridge Road in Perry Township.

The homeowner said the car hit the home's heating and air conditioning unit.

Police have not said what caused the crash or whether any charges would be filed against the driver.
