Cash 5 ticket worth more than $800K sold in Berks County

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - If you played Sunday's Cash 5 game and bought the ticket in Berks County, take a close look at your numbers.

A jackpot-winning ticket worth $811,886 was sold at Friendly Food Mart, 1000 N. Park Rd., in Wyomissing, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday.

The ticket correctly matched all five balls, 02-04-09-15-43, to win the prize, less 25 percent federal withholding.

The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.

More than 69,700 other Cash 5 tickets won prizes of various amounts in the Sunday night drawing.

In fiscal year 2012-13, the Pennsylvania Lottery awarded nearly $62.7 million in prizes to winners in Berks County. The lottery also contributed more than $30.1 million to programs that benefited the county's older residents, officials said.
