Caught on camera: Burglars repeatedly strike Maxatawny business

Police look for information on burglary

MAXATAWNY TWP., Pa. - State police have put out a plea for help in identifying a trio of thieves who are believed to have struck the same business five times.

The latest break-in happened around 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 12 at Responsible Recycling Services, 805 Tomahawk Drive, in Maxatawny Township.

The three men forced their way inside the building through a side glass window and stole a security camera.

One of the men was wearing a red "DC sweatshirt, camouflage shorts and sandals; another was wearing a camouflage coat, a backpack and long, dark shorts; the third had on a striped sweatshirt and tan shorts.

Anyone who can help state police crack the case can call Crime Alert Berks County at 877-373-9913. A cash reward is offered for an anonymous tip that leads to an arrest.
