Claude Giroux arrested in Canada

Flyers captain Claude Giroux is on thin ice. According to a report in the Ottawa Sun newspaper, Giroux was arrested and spent Tuesday evening in jail following an incident with a police officer.

The report states that Giroux was cuffed for repeatedly grabbing the buttocks of a male officer at a bar. The report also notes that alcohol was likely a factor. No charges have been filed against Giroux so far.

The NHL and the Flyers are still gathering information on the incident.

Giroux helped lead the Flyers to the Stanley Cup playoffs this season.
