Convenience store sells $1 million lottery ticket

BIRDSBORO, Pa. - For the second time in the past few days, a big-time lottery ticket has been sold in Berks County.

Lottery officials said a Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold recently at the Turkey Hill in Birdsboro.

It's the first million dollar winner since Powerball changed some rules two weeks ago.

On Tuesday, a Mega Millions ticket sold in the Morgantown area hit for a quarter of a million dollars.
