Corey Unger eligible to play for Wyomissing Saturday

Wyomissing's Unger eligible to play Saturday

WYOMISSING, Pa. - The Wyomissing football team has been one of the top Double-A teams in the state all season.  They have a lot of talent and have proven on both sides of the ball to be dominant week in and week out.  They may be even better come Saturday when Corey Unger is finally eligible to play for the Spartans.

Unger transferred from Fleetwood to Wyomissing and was ruled ineligible to compete in athletics until December 1st.

That day is Saturday, the same day as Wyomissing's state quarterfinal game against Danville.

Unger was a very good quarterback at Fleetwood. He passed for over 4,000 yards in three seasons with the Tigers.

He may see the field in different capacities Saturday and no matter what or where he plays, expect him to be ready to give plenty of effort.
