Coroner called to motorcycle crash in Centerport

CENTERPORT, Pa. - The coroner was called to a stretch of Main Street in Centerport following a crash involving a motorcycle Tuesday night.

It happened around 8 p.m. in the 1900 block of Main Street. Witnesses told 69 News there was a police chase before the crash.

One witness said he was home when he heard a motorcycle "fly by" in the Shoemakersville area and that's when he looked outside. He said he saw multiple police cars going after that motorcycle.

The witness told 69 News he heard from his neighbors that the motorcyclist hit multiple people during the chase, and multiple ambulances were called in.
