DA: Alsace man found with photos, video of child porn

ALSACE TWP., Pa. - A seven-month investigation of child pornography has resulted in the arrest of a Berks County man.

Joshua Adam Seifrit surrendered Tuesday to detectives with the district attorney's office on charges of dissemination of photographs/film of child sex acts and possession of child pornography.

Detectives said they began their investigation into the online sharing of child pornography in November, and in February, they searched Seifrit's home on Alsace Avenue in Alsace Township, seizing a computer and related items.

A forensic examination of the seized items turned up more than 50 digital files that included photos and videos of child pornography, officials said.

Seifrit, 25, of was arraigned on the charges and subsequently freed on $50,000 unsecured bail.
