DA: Child porn sharing on Skype leads to arrest in Reading

Search turns up images, video, authorities say

READING, Pa. - The online sharing of child pornography has led to the arrest of a Reading man, according to the Berks County district attorney's office.

The DA's detectives announced Thursday the arrest of Christian Lebron on charges that include sexual abuse of children - possession of child pornography and sexual abuse of children - dissemination of child pornography.

The investigation was prompted by information detectives said they received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding files being shared on Skype.

Detectives and Reading police officers subsequently searched Lebron's home on Lackawanna Street, where they said they found several digital files that included photos and videos of child pornography.

Lebron, 22, surrendered to detectives for his arraignment on Wednesday. He was then freed on $25,000 unsecured bail.
