Ex-bank manager gets probation, house arrest

A former Metro Bank branch manager has been sentenced to house arrest and probation for taking money from customers.

David Parsons was sentenced after pleading guilty.

Parsons used bank customer's information to create debit cards and then made thousands of dollars in withdrawals, said authorities, who noted that he took nearly $200,000 from one customer.

Parsons has been sentenced to seven years probation. He'll spend the first six months of his sentence under house arrest.
