Madison Marie Walb's death ruled a homicide

READING, Pa. - Authorities have identified the woman whose body was found dumped in a rural area of Berks County over the weekend.

Madison Marie Walb, 23, of Reading, was found dead Sunday afternoon in a wooded area off Riegel Road in Lower Heidelberg Township.

An autopsy done Monday confirmed Walb's death to be a homicide, but detectives said they are awaiting results of toxicology tests before a cause of death can be determined.

Investigators have told 69 News that they believe Walb died at a different location from where her body was found.
