Driver rescued after SUV lands on side against tree

Crash occurred in Exeter Township

EXETER TWP., Pa. - Emergency personnel needed to cut the roof off a vehicle to remove the driver in a one-vehicle crash in Berks County on Thursday.

Crews were dispatched around 10 a.m. to the 500 block of Butter Lane in Exeter Township.

The teen driver reportedly told police that a car turned in front of her, causing her to lose control of the SUV.

She was conscious when firefighters removed her from the vehicle. She was taken to Reading Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
