Eagles preparing for the return of Andy Reid

Eagles gear up for Andy Reid's return

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelpha Eagles will host the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night. It will be Andy Reid's first game back in Philadelphia since being fired by the Eagles last season.

Philadelphia (1-1) is coming off a last-second lost to the San Diego Chargers. The Thursday night game hasn't given the team much time to dwell on it.

The Eagles know the Chiefs (2-0) will have an edge due to Reid's extensive history with the team's personnel.

But the Birds are aware that it's the players who play the game and they are confident in their abilities to overcome any advantage Reid may have over them.

Reid was the head coach in Philly for 14 years and is one of the most successful coaches in team history.
