Emmaus, CCHS baseball tally early season wins

The Emmaus and Central Catholic baseball teams tallied non-league wins on Monday afternoon.

At Emmaus, the Green Hornets rolled to a 12-3 win in 5 innings over visiting Blue Mountain. Dan Findlay had a big afternoon for Emmaus, clearing the bases with a double in the 3rd to pace the Green Hornets offensively.

In Topton, CCHS and Brandywine Heights went to extra innings tied at 5, but the Vikings blew it open with 8 runs in the 8th inning to tally a 13-5 victory.

Zach Krause hit what proved to be the winning single in the 8th.
