Eric Lindros joins Flyers alumni roster for game in Reading

Game set for March 18 at Santander Arena

READING, Pa. - Eric Lindros will be lacing up his skates when the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins alumni teams face off against each other in Reading.

The Philadelphia Flyers Alumni Association announced Tuesday that Lindros, a 2016 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, will join its team to play against the Penguins alumni at the Santander Arena on March 18. The game is set to start at 3 p.m.

The former Flyers captain was recently named to the NHL's list of 100 greatest NHL players.

Lindros will be joined in Reading by former Flyers Danny Briere, John LeClair, Brian Boucher, Brian Propp, Terry Carkner, Doug Crossman, Larry Goodenough, Todd Fedoruk, Brad Marsh, Joe Watson, and Bob Kelly.

Playing on the Penguins alumni team will be Dennis Owchar, Christian Hanson, Tyler Kennedy, Matt Cooke, Ryan Malone, Phil Bourque, Jean-Sebastien Aubin, Troy Loney, Greg Malone, and Mitch Lamoureux.

Tickets for the game are on sale at the Santander Arena box office on Penn Street and online through Ticketmaster.

Funds raised from the game will jointly benefit Royals Charities and the Flyers Alumni Association.

This is the second consecutive season Flyers alumni will play in Reading. Their intra-squad matchup last year drew a sellout crowd.
