Erie takes matinee, series from Fightin Phils

ERIE, Pa. - The Reading Fightin Phils (42-59) fell to the Erie SeaWolves (50-54) on Wednesday afternoon, 6-1, in the series finale at Jerry Uht Park. Erie took 2 of 3 in the series.

Steven Moya and Devon Travis hit home runs for the SeaWolves.

Reading starter Severino Gonzalez struggled, going 4 innings while allowing a season-high 13 hits and 6 runs.

Reading returns to Baseballtown for a 4-game set with Akron beginning Thursday night at 7:05.
