Ex-color guard instructor heading to trial in sex case

READING, Pa. - A onetime color guard instructor for the Reading High School marching band is heading to trial.

Jennifer Wolfe waived her right to a preliminary hearing Monday. Authorities said Wolfe sexually abused a band member several times between October 2011 and April 2012.

The pair met when the boy was 16, officials said.

Wolfe has been charged with institutional sexual assault, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors. She's no longer employed by the Reading School District.
