Exeter baseball falls in District semis; Lynx postponed

The Eagles lose to Cedar Cliff in the District III-AAAA semifinals

Eagles fall in semis; Lynx to wait until Thursday

The Exeter baseball team could not advance to its second straight District III-AAAA championship game on Wednesday. Oley Valley never got the chance, as they were once again postponed in the AAA semis.

At Fredericksburg, the Eagles could not get past Cedar Cliff, 5-2, and will face Red Land in a state qualifier Thursday at 4:00 once again at Wenger Field.

Oley Valley's AAA semifinal was postponed due to poor field conditions at War Memorial Field in Ephrata. The Lynx will meet Northern York on Thursday at 2:00 in Ephrata. If they win, they advance to the District final in York later that night. A loss, and Oley has to play in a state qualifier in Ephrata immediately after the first game.
