Exeter girls making strides in Snyder's second year

Exeter girls out to fast start this season

REIFFTON - In his second year as head coach, Ted Snyder has already matched Exeter's win total from last year with more than half a season still left.

Led by Jen Eck and Katye Johnson, the Eagles have soared out to a 5-1 start. Governor Mifflin handed them their first loss on Friday.

Still, Exeter has already won more league games than last year and needs one more victory to surpass last season's win total as a whole.

Coach Snyder says his girls are playing with confidence. The players say they were just tired of losing. Combine those two, and you'll see why Exeter is out to a good start.
