Exeter off to fast start in 2013

Eagles out to flying start

REIFFTON - The Exeter football team is off to a 2-0 start to the 2013 season. The Eagles can make it 3-0 when they visit McCaskey on Friday.

Matt Bauer's team has relied on discipline this season. It's an idea that carried the Eagles through the preseason, and now through the regular season. It's something the team admits it did not have last season, and its record suffered because of it.

Behind the electric play of quarterback Chase Yocum, brother of record-setting quarterback Kyle Yocum, Exeter has won convincingly through the first two weeks and now looks like a true contender for a Berks I title.
