Exeter takes Berks I lead with win over Governor Mifflin

Exeter knocks off Governor Mifflin in Berks I tilt

EXETER TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Exeter (4-1, 6-3) defeated Governor Mifflin (4-2, 10-3) on their home field Wednesday, 7-1, to take the lead in Berks I.

The Eagles scored four runs in the first inning and the Mustangs never recovered.

Scott Galbraith and Andrew Hertzog had a big day at the plate, tallying 2 RBIs each for Exeter.

Exeter visits Conrad Weiser on Friday. Governor Mifflin hosts Twin Valley that afternoon.
